Your first knife of 2003?

Went into a knife shop to buy a bottle of tuff glide and got side tracked by a small stars & stripes sebenza :o/
I *think* any other knives I got recently were before the 1st of the year.
 
A Spyderco Vesuvius with the silver bug at the Richmond gun show yesterday.
 
Looks like mine's going to be a custom by Jason Jacks. I picked up one of his Talonite Ultra-Mini Raptors from BladeArt, just before Christmas, and was so impressed that I contacted him about making another knife for me.
 
I ordered a DDR/wilson combat CQB Friday. It should arrive early this week. Can't wait to see this knife in person. Looks like a great new edc.

Well, something did catch my eye, so my first knife of 2003 is my new Delta Z Raindrop Damascus Folder. Received it today 01/09/03!
 
Well my first knife of the new year was CRKT 14K Summit Pike's Peak. I must say...I like this little knife alot! The blade is only about 2 and half inches long but it is one well made knife. The only drawback is the steel but I bought this knife to punish at work and it small enough were it won't raise as many eyebrows as my Griptilian or my Spydie Endura did! It also fits real nice and comfortable in the back pocket of my khakis because its about 3inches closed! I also got another Griptialian coming...a 551BT with an Olive Drab handle...I can't wait for this one! This one BM I have been wanting for awhile. Plus I have bid going for another 806D2 we'll see how that one goes!
 
I haven't bought one yet. But, my birthday is coming up, and I gave my significant other a list of blades that could be possible birthday gift candidates.
 
Gee... I'm suddenly having blade inadequacy issues:( :(

Anyway, my first knife of 2003 was a mint, delrin, 3-blade Schrade Walden medium stockman that I got on ebay. That suddenly seems boring, and I was so proud of myself.

I'll just sit back and read all your posts. I can live vicariously through your purchases.

Found a SOG Night Vision in a knife shop on 1-7 and bought that. Bought a little ANZA file knife today. Ordered a Swamp Rat Bandicoot on 12-23-02, but haven't gotten it yet.
