Your first Spyderco and what you own now?

My first Spyderco was a Centafonte 3, then a Tenacious, then a gray frn partially serrated Delica, and I bought a Native today, and I love it so far.

My first spyderco was spyderco s30v walmart native. Through 2009 I'ved EDCed the native, Delica 3, Para-Military, and the native 3. I Don't have the others, but I still EDC the native and it's the only spyderco knife I own.

The last spyderco product I got was a spyderco sharpmaker off of new grahams last week. Now I need to the collection rolling.

Started with the Native 4 and then bought a few more, and now I have five.
Added the Manix 2, Captain and Sage and a Caly3, oh me o my my wife now calls me a Spyderco guy:eek:

A black handled UKPK bought somewhere around 2004 (love that knife), quite a few different models in between, and now a drop point UKPK (starting to love this one as well). I loves me some UKPK!:D

My first was a Manix. It was at a now gone knife store and some guy had one and showed it to me. When I held that beast I had to have one. Next I got a waved Endura 4 and then a Citadel.:D Now I am patiently waiting for the FFG FRN Endura and Delica models to come out.

My first Spyderco was a Ladybug I picked up a short while after the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1990. Didn't get my next one 'til I found one of the last S30V Natives at a local Walmart in 2008. 3 Lum Chinese Folders (a green SE and 2 black), an orange Millie, and a CF Native 4 have been added since I got back in to knives. Have a Ti/G10 Millie on order. Not a huge collection, but I think these are some classic models.

Forgot to mention that the Ti/G10 Millie has the RIL. Did I mention I'm really excited to see this one? :D

First was a black Salsa I got as a groomsman's gift a few years ago. I still have it. Since I have bought a Tenacious, a G10 Endura, and a CF Kiwi. All of mine are plain-edge.

My first Spyderco, and first "high end" folder of any kind was a stainless handled Police partially serrated VG-10 blade my father bought for me. Love at first sight. It showed me what a great folder was capable of. The steel amazed me as far as how sharp I could get it, and how tough it was. It hardly ever needed sharpening. I edc'ed it for a few years, then my collection took off.

I have since sold it to a good friend who uses it constantly. He is a manager for a valet parking company nationwide so its a white collar knife now. I have since owned a few other Spydies, 2 para-milies (one D-2 green handle, the other standard black with S30V) and a S90V CF millie. I have the standard para still, its in my toolbox as my beater knife (love having a S30V beater), and the CF millie is my knife for kitchen duty or when I go out for a steak. Amazing slicer. The green para I sold. I wish I hadnt. I also have a little keychain Spyderco that was given to me at Blade last year. LOL.

I guess a good rule to remember is: Never sell a Spydie! Never. Unless your funding another one.

My first Spyderco was a FRN Native that I wasn't thrilled with, so I sent it back.

I later purchased a Caly 3, followed shortly by a FRN Delica.

From there I purchased a CF Native IV, CF Sage, Leafstorm, CF Kiwi, and a CF Kopa.

...Anyone notice a pattern? :D

My first was an Endura I picked up in Atlanta(REI) back in the very early 80's. It was the first time I had seen a Spyderco, and I had to have it.
I still use it as my go to fishing knife.

I didn't buy another for a long, long time. Still don't have alot, but like what I have. I have a SageII, 1 black Millie and 2 orange, CF Caly3, D2 PARA, Original mini Manix, 2 Mules(S90V, M4), and the Endura.

my first one was a tenacious.
my latest one a manix 2 (2 hours ago)

somewhere in between those guys I bought 16 more hehe.

I started with a delica 3 combo edge. 13 years and 13 spyderco knives latter it still is my main EDC. delcia 4, endura 4, native, centophane, dragonfly, rescue, paramilitary, military, ladybug, stretch II, Pacific salt, pacific salt 1.

I found out the lock-backs and carry tip up carry knives work for me the best. My EDC carry is my back pocket no clip. knives that are 4" or less in lenght or 2 oz. or less in weight and with FRN handles are what I end up carrying the most. My big carry knife is my Stretch II FRN. Sad to say I've run out of knives to buy. Sorry Sal.

BTW I sent my delica 3 back to spyderco to remove the chips in the blade edge and re do the broken tip like a delica 4 and it is as good as new.

Sorry, deleted this due to duplicate post to add notes to each pic. See my post following this one!
