Your "Knife Of The Year"?

My Spyderco Pacific Salt.

I work in a restaurant and it works very well in that environment. The thing is, I quite
often can't put it away when I get home either. :) It's a real winner and am looking
forward to purchasing the serrated model soon.

My Lil Persian customized by Phillip Dobson is certainly my knife of the year

LOVE the look of those scales on your Persian, BEAUTIFUL

The rat HESt has replaced all other knives as my EDC of choice, one hell of a great design in a small pocketable package.

My working knife is now the microtech crosshair, ten shades of vicious with top of the line fit and finsih, thick enough to pry but sharp enough to zip through anything i might come up against.

Although they came at the end of the year, these two knives tie as the ones that are most influencing my buying decisions for 2010 soo far;

For me it would have to be Fehrman Knives. I started with the Peace Maker and now I own the First Strike,Shadow Scout and Short Stop.

My knife of the year is probably the lowly Delica 4 with spydie edge.

I have fought against the SE for years, but after buying one and using it, the SE has supplanted the plain edge for me. I still carry plenty of plain edge knives in my rotation, but for me the serrated edge just seems to do most things better.

Yesterday for example I was trying to cut open the top of a plastic BB container for my progeny. A plain edge was not really doing anything to it, but a serrated edge sawed right through.

Combine this with my high regard for the Delica, which - again, for me - may be the ultimate EDC knife, and I have a winner.

I'd have to say The Cuda Maxx 5.5 I received in trade is defiantly my knife of the year.

My knife of the year would be the Ritter Mini Griptillian, especially after the addition of Wilkins Grips. I liked it so much I got a large Ritter Grip and put Wilkins Grips on it. But the Mini remains my favorite EDC.
