Your knife today in your backyard!

i just finished four knives (except for the final sharpening) and i am especially proud of one of them, ill be sure to get a pic.

Damn nice day here. 70 degrees, no wind. It was 60 at 6 am when I got home from work. I got out of my uniform threw on my shorts and a longsleeve jersey and hit the trails on my mountain bike for 16 miles of bliss.

This is the blade thats kickin around with me today. As a matter of fact, it hasnt left my pocket since I got it. I love it....

Nice, I've been wondering if someone had one of those!

Nice sharpening job Fonly. I touched my RC-6 up a bit this afternoon as well. Looks like your convex was a bit more even than mind though. I agree that this really increases its cutting performance!

Shots from Today's hikes are good too Bushman5!

J Williams - don't tell me you've lost your love for that Laconico necker??? How does the Busse skeleton compare in handle feel to that shiny Laconico?

Cool idea kgd!

Here's what I had with me all day - I call it my "little pocket sucker"
Ugly, I know, but this way I always have a sharp convex edge in my pocket :D

Not ugly, very cool! Did you make it? Neat little knife!

Not a great day here. Cold, but not cold enough for snow. Wet, but not wet enough for a real shower. Gray ... grim ... damp ... depressing.

But still enough light for some photography!!

Very nice. Look like a handy little knife.

Morihei Ueshiba..... You must study Aikido.

Thanks for the shots old physics. Really cool pattern on the slabs of your Hairy Carry. I like the Res-C handles too. Not very pretty to look at, but very comfy.

kgd: yes, I made it - 154CM.

C Bryant: One would think so but no - Used to study judo, though...but this quote speaks to me a lot.

I didnt lose love for it, just always switching things up. The Busse is lighter, and has a pointier blade, and of course is coated. As far a handle feel, they are about the same, with a slight edge given to the Busse in terms of comfort. The Laconico is IMO more attractive in appearance, and has a better edge. Im thinkingabout convexing the Busse, and maybe stripping it. Not sure yet. The coating does serve a purpose.....Both are wonderfull though.

The Busse feels exactly like an Izula with longer handle.

Well, these are my knives, but not my back yard. These are from the gentleman that purchased the blades and he allowed me to use his photos.
Very cool dude.

Rubbery and almost soft (depresses very slightly). It feels like a rubber grip but is far more resistant to wear and tear.

My contribution.

From this morning......

Unfortunately, that one will only be hanging around until tomorrow.

Now, I need to do a couple action shots with a different one.
