Your knife today in your backyard!

Love that stag barkie BigMike.

Chickenplucker - thats the first I've seen somebody post a scrapmuk here on W&SS. How do you like it? Nice little Tyson Bushcrafter there too.

The scrapmuk has nice comfortable lines and is thicker than most nessies at 3/16ths. And even though the handle isnt at all traditional it feels really good. Nothing wrong with modernizing tradition!! That little Breeden is a natural born cutter.

Mr. Gilbert- Is that an Orange Tree growing in your backyard. That is great!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, an orange tree. Sweet little oranges, and I need to pick this one as the other picked trees are already blooming.

FWIW, Gilbert is the town I live in.....

OK, it isn't....... but you force me to lie

Thanks Tony. When I contacted Wilson to make me a knife I asked about flat grinds. He said he prefered to do hollow grinds so I let him do his thing. I didn't even think to ask about scandi. Maybe next time.

fatwood and froglegs on Sunday afternoon...it doesn't get any better than that!

Nice knives everyone:thumbup: Plenty of sunshine today:) I messed with these out by the wood pile. A Gossman PSK Sr; Wettelings, and a Bravo-1.

man KGD, this is awesome, thanks for starting this up so many different knives than you don't usually see.

Keep'em coming guys.

Here's a pic from yesterday as I was raking and weeding out my garden all afternoon. The top is not mine, but the very excellent JK Bushcrafter currently on passaround. The bottom is my Tin Knife that despite its diminutive size, is a stout little critter capable of doing more chores than you would think.

Hi all, I have been messing around with just a few today. These are just getting ready to go into the oven, except the one that has the osage handle on it:p. That knife I have been using today for just about all me cutting chores.
The top knife and the 2 little warny firesteel scrapers under the top knife are going to go to Canada:thumbup: huh kgd:D

The next one is a knife going to a lady hunter here in my area. She wanted that design and wants bocote wood handles to match her 300 mag deer hunting rifle:eek:. She is just a little lady, how she shoots that 300 mag I am not sure, but here husband says she does just fine LOL. He is getting her that knife, for her birthday.

Then there is the knife that has the cut out in the handle. That knife is going to be another Sparky knife for going gear.com. I have heard through the rumer mill that this knife will be taking the senic route, before going to Going Gear by stopping off at one of the writers for Tactical Knives magazine for a photo shoot for a upcoming article. Well you know how rumars are ;):D

Then there is the osage handle knife that I made for me it is the 3rd scandi knife I have made. After talking to Brian Andrews one day a few weeks back.
Brian told me I should try scandi grind and so I made one up and well LOL I am hooked on that grind for bush craft cutting tasks. This 3rd one is like a Ray Mears knife blade shape but with a different handle shape and a little higher scandi grind. I love it. Thanks to Brian for talking me into making one. I have sure been missing out on a great grind for bushcraft.

Hey k, you're right it was a beautiful day in Ontario, so I, too, went on a hike.
Here's the knife picture.

I took some others but I will post in a separate thread so as to not take this thread off topic.

BTW, B5, these were taken at 2 MP.
