Your Longest-Running User Knife?

My Pacific Salt. The thing is nearly indestructible! I never was a fan of a large pocket knife until I bought this one. I'm sure it will be around for quite a while. Going on about 4 years. I usually lose them before that.

Cold Steel Mini AK-47 purchased on 4-16-2011. I had much older blades but I either lost or sold them. This Cold Steel's legacy lives on. Needs sharpening badly.

Vic Spartan, 1991-2 has pre-9-11 flier miles.
Ha! Forgot all about this, we might have even been in the smoking section of the plane. My Vic has flown, too, I think I even had it out/using it without a panicked expression to be seen.

I've got a couple of SAKs that have been in constant use for twenty something years, a custom fixed blade my dad had made for me when I was 12 (I'm 31). My first Spyderco, a Viele (the old one with AUS8 blade) still gets some use.

Had this for eight years now. I've never identified the model, but am currently communicating with Wenger customer service while they try to identify it. This is almost the perfect edc knife as it has an excellent cutting blade and several useful tools while weighing almost nothing and being very slender.

Huh! I remember seeing one of those (or something very similar) back in about 1999 when I was 11, that was my "grail knife" for the longest time but I was never able to find one again!

I bought a spyderco endura when I graduated the police academy in 1997. Still in my pocket today.
Needs to go back for sharpening and I broke the tip off probably 10yrs ago

I carried a Buck 110 from 1973 until I "retired" it in 2012, when I replaced it with a Buck 482/484 combo as my EDC folders. My twin Kabar 1232s (from the 70s) have been carried EDC style only since May of 2001 when I started carrying both again full time after "leaving" the corporate world when they sent my job to China.

Longest since I started really using knives was about a year and a half. It lost its edge pretty quickly and was reduced to tearing rather than slicing for most of its use. After that was another for a little over a year. I have been carrying a new EDC for a few weeks, but the Persistence is wicked sharp right now, and I still fondle it. I left some of the marks on it, only touching up the edge-- no clean up.

Gerber LST I would guess I got it from BIL for Christmas late 80s.I carried it every day.It has opened tons of welding rod and welding wire. Some side play but locks up good.

The knife I have carried and used the most is an FRN Spyderco Native. My tastes vary all the time, sometimes I'll get on a traditional kick, oversized knife kick, fixed blade kick, or whatever. But the Native will always get pocket time here and there.

I carried a Buck 110 and a Case 3318 from '84 or '85 until about '96. I have lost both of my originals so I have bought replacements. I still carry one or both once in a while for old times sake.

Spyderco manix 2. Still my go to. I have "fancier" but when I have real work to do the manix is in my pocket.
