YOUR most expensive production folder?

Got 2 BM781 Anthems [~$450 each]. I’d really like for them to be a tad bigger. Absolutely love integral style knives, my favorite Benchmade by far.

ZT 0562CF is the most I've ever spent on a folder. I did spend a bit more on my Recon 035 OTF though. Tbh, I can't really see myself spending any more than that, I feel like $250 will buy a really good knife as far as materials, fit/finish, etc... anymore than that and you're paying the luxury tax, just my personal opinion though. I guess I could see paying more for something really exclusive and collectible, but not a regular production folder.

Massdrop x schwartz Perpetua - $120. I have been looking for something for edc and this was interesting and new. It is very tough and utilitarian. It has nitro-v steel and is sharp as sin. This is the first knife greater than 50 dollars I've ever bought. Now I'm finding all kinds of knives at that price range I am interested in!

Might as well mention that I set a personal recond for spending on a production knife when I bought a CKF/Snecx Terra for ~$600 on black friday. Considering the most I've ever spent on a knife, period, was $750, that's a lot of moolah.

WE Wisp I got last month. My first High end production knife. As a side comment, IMO, WE doesn't live up to the hype. My Kershaw Atmos was every bit as well made, fit and finish as the WE. The only difference was the Blade steel. Yes Kershaw's 8Cr13MoV is no where near the CPM-S35VN that is in my Wisp. But everything else being equal, (and it pretty much is) it no where near makes up for the $150+ premium I paid for the WE.
I have handled some CRK's - Sebenza's & Mnandi's. Those I view as worth the premium, meaning I can see the expense and attention to detail that went into them to justify the price. But from my recent experience, I am much less likely to fork over money for "high end" production folders in the future. At least not sight unseen. See it, hold it, work it. If it passes those tests, I might dole out the cash. But that is just me. Your mileage may vary.

Someone started a thread asking what people’s individual threshold was for a user vs. safe queen. It got me thinking because I don’t let price dictate whether I carry/use a knife or not. I do however limit myself to the production market to somewhat keep my spending under control:) So my question is what is currently the most expensive production folder you own?
Spydiechef

I wouldn't normally spend that much, but for cooking? That's what I use a knife for, most often. Why not have a good folder than can do it too?

I'm cheap, so I held out for a nice used 1st gen. one. Saved $40 or so.

I use them as the situation dictates fixed and folder. Everything is used at some point.

Most expensive folders are $450 to $550:
- XM-18, Fatty Harpoon Tanto
- XM-24, Wharncliffe
- Hinderer Maximus, Double Edge CPM 20CV, Black Hardware

My Chris Reeve Annual Sebenza-large would probably sell for over $1400 today, so it is the most expensive that I own.

That's a great price for Terra! There is so much precision work put into that knife:cool::thumbsup: It's a mind blower IMO.

Spyderco Slysz Bowie and the Cold Steel 4max are the two tied at 300.

If you count my Busse and Carothers D2 EDC. Then those are also tied up
