Nice find. Not too many made with 440V which according to Spydiewiki was a transitional steel from Gin 1/2 to S30V.

My first Spyderco was, and is, a 440v PE Native. One of the smoothest folders I have ever used.

Yes it is! I had one of these 25 years ago in 440v (a steel I still like ) but got rid of most of my non custom knives not too long after

have looked for a replacement for well over a year

It's complicated . I wanted the All Black Caribean Salt handle for my BBB Para 3
So I did .


A few days after that , after "deciding" that was the last knife I would ever want from any where ever again , I could not get the subliminal phrase "buy the Ti " out of my mind and so
This arrived .
Now we're done !


You know the inside of the Titanium scales are relieved right ?

That's one of the early gen Natives! My cousin has the stainless version thst I've been trying to buy from him for st least 20 years. Love that blade profile!
