Any one have a Black PE Embassy? If so, let me know because I need to find one of those to pair with a Satin PE Embassy too.

Very nice! I need one of these to compliment my Autonomy 2!

Real clean!

Spyderco #3 arrived today - Tenacious R.I.L. in blue titanium. Needed a little tweak on the pivot to be able to spydie-flick it, otherwise it’s a beauty. I might maybe have liked the option for a little better blade steel, but I’ve never had any problem with 8Cr, and it does keep the knife with a titanium handle in a more affordable price range (I’ve got a bit of a thing for blue titanium). Overall build and fit & finish are first-rate. Lock bar engages and disengages solidly and smoothly. It’s light-saber sharp, and will be very light to carry. It’s a really nice addition to my little Spyderco collection.

Just arrived . . a CF S90V Sprint Siren folder designed by Lance Clinton:

Feels great in the hand & it's definitely one that I'd consider adding to my carry rotation.

It pairs with the fixed blade Waterway also designed by Clinton..

The Waterway is one of only a couple of knives in my collection that I actually use. I use it as a boning knife in the kitchen.

I've always noticed that there wasn't a "Recent Acquisitions" thread in the Spyderco Sub-Forum, so I decided to create one.

To start the thread off, I'm re-posting 2 recent acquisitions of mine that didn't get much interest in the "Post Your Spyder Pics" thread where I 1st posted them.

Please post your most recent Spyderco Acquisitions here too!
This is my first post here since 2017, so please be gentle. I received a new PM3 in CPM S45VN with a plain finish blade and black G10 scales today. Everything about this sample done was right, and it had the sharpest blade out-of -the box of any Spyderco knife, so far.

For comparison. I have an original Military, a PM2, and a Sage 2. The Military is a safe queen because it’s a bit too large for my hand (size L glove), so a bit slow and awkward for me open with one hand. The PM2 is perfect fit in that respect. The Sage 2 is a little too small in that respect, so I thought the PM3 might also might be too small, but turned out to be a perfect fit too. At this point, my next step will be finding a new home for the Military because it doesn’t fit my hand as well.

Just received this early Gen 1 PE ATS-34 Black 2 clip screw Military that I bought off of EB:

This is the only Black 2 clip screw Millie that I've ever seen for sale anywhere.

It joins the 2 other 2 clip screw Millies in my collection -- both have SE Satin blades but 1 is ATS-34 & the other is 440V:

Still need to find the SE version of the Black & the PE versions of the Satins to complete this group of Millie 2 clip screw variations. There are 9 other Millie variations in my collection.

You have a nice collection of Militaries. I am not a collector, but sometimes accumulate more knives than I need. I bought my Military (C36GPE) in 2011 to see what all the fuss was about, thinking I would use it, but never did because it was a bit too large for my intended purposes.

A few years later, I bought a PM2 in CTS 240 to replace the Military. It’s a more sensible size for me, and I often carry it while hiking in the mountains around my rural home, but it’s not too large to serve as my EDC. If I wanted one knife to use for everything, this would probably be my first choice.

I also have a Sage 2 in S30v that has been my EDC since it was released several years ago. Its 3” blade and deep pocket wire clip draws less undesired attention in large cities I visit, some of which have a 3” size limit. The PM2 I just received also has a 3” blade, and I am considering it as a possible replacement for the Sage 2.

In reality, I think the PM3 would work almost as well as the PM2 as my one knife for everything, but I will probably keep both.

The bright green spots are where the finger bumps used to be. The bumps interfere with my prefered grip, so I remove them..
Here's a better pic of that. I later doctored those spots up with a black Sharpie. They now blend in to the rest of the handle.

I've been trying to control this habit and I was doing really well for a couple of weeks . . .

Then . . . hear me out . . . I was faced with a situation that left me with no choice! I was innocently looking at deal on the big river's site that does the clearances that rhymes with loot. Those maniacs had several Spydercos at good prices again. I was holding strong until I saw both the Endura in K390 and the Police 4 Lightweight in K390. Yeah, I know. I already have one of each of those. At least I didn't get another Endura . . .

I really had no choice in the matter. K390 is the bee's knees.

Also, as usual, I switched the pocket clip for tip-down carry, as God intended!
