Not my newest, but one of my favorite stag knives and favorite patterns- GEC 79 Northfield Burnt Stag Workhorse. Purchased on BladeForums a little over 4 years ago.
btb01 Yes you can't slam that one shut! As with most French knives, probably a good job too as the opening is easy enough but a tough spring to shut and it could maim you if fingers got in the way
It has a piece of cork in the well to protect the blade as it gets guided home. Great knife for demanding work though.
Fixall Really fantastic knife that Birdvis! Shows real innovation & aesthetics, top knife
Thanks, Will

The craftsmanship is really over the top! It took me about .5 seconds of handling it to realize it was definitely going home with me, lol.
The downside (for my bank account) is that it's started my jaunt down to custom rabbit hole. I'll soon be adding a Oeser, Ritchie, and a Moran to the collection.![]()
Don’t forget Rhidian if you don’t have one already![]()
Thanks Jim. My first from Cosimo.Lovely, Bob!![]()
Very interesting pattern on the scalesI picked up my first Boker knife last week. The jigging pattern was described as “weatherbottom”, whatever that means, but I like the way it feels in hand and it’s easy to distinguish by feel from other objects in my pocket. View attachment 2381221
