I picked up my first Boker knife last week. The jigging pattern was described as “weatherbottom”, whatever that means, but I like the way it feels in hand and it’s easy to distinguish by feel from other objects in my pocket. View attachment 2381221
That Boker barlow is a beauty. The bone handles would be Boker's "washboard bone" or "washboard jigged bone." I am guessing the seller inadvertently conflated it with Queen Cutlery's "winterbottom jigged bone," which has grooves parallel to the length of the handle.

Certainly agree here, it is fine looking but those scales are Washboard Bone. Böker also did these in a Green version as well.

Finally found an original Bob Cargill Cripple Creek to add to the collection -- a Trapper (1986) in Honey Bone. Love the jigging on this one...
