I just received this little unbranded knife.
Given its characteristics, could it have been made in England? I don't know!!!

Flea market finds were somewhat OK today. I know what I have but I’ll be darned if I can age one. The Hiker pattern has the squared off Phillips with the file on the inside and a scalloped out cap lifter that is sharpened. $20 with a box I figured was worth it. The little Vic was $5 and the stainless Camillus Cub Scout knife was $10. I don’t think it’s ever been used!!!

that does explain it cause I cant recall any of the modern ones offering that, i had one with a tiny spear and a main spear blade at some point

I knew I had an old one as soon as I saw the clip so I was pretty excited about the condition of it

I was able to secure a #39 from a very considerate member here, and modified the long spey into a sheepfoot so I'd have a bellied and a straight blade.
So far so good, but my hands got crampy and it still needs a little more finish work on the swedge, but here it is.

The spearpoint Lacroix arrived from Knives of France today. USPS said to expect it Monday, but I'm not mad.

That's stickiness from opening my new blowgun, which also arrived today. Lacroix, Lacroix, Massoptier, and Sabot. The two in the middle came from Jolipapa.

This Amber CV 6375 Large Stockman was dropped off by the UPS man this past Tuesday. Excellent fit and finish - no drips, runs, gaps, cracks, or errors. A really nice knife. The Peach Seed jigging really makes the knife stand out.
