The Victorinox 2 and a Camillus Army knife from a year with a pretty important date for me.

Modoc ED sent me a wonderful package full of goodies today. It included a 2019 Guardians' stag Damascus lambsfoot, a RRR Select pruner and three beautful cowry shells from Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Ed, you're one of the good ones!

Whittler Wednesday/Humpday with this humpy whittle guy. I never thought I'd like a knife as funny looking as a 29. And I'm still blown away by how much I love the Coffeehouse acrylic, never thought I'd say that about a plastic handle either, but GEC has a way of doing this to a person. It's almost as if Bill wants to make us all say "Uncle!"?
Make the best Wednesdays you can, and may your pocketknife help!

Very tidy arrivals  I have the SAK Pruner and find that blade amazingly versatile, great for hard plastic shell packaging without the danger of slipping and stabbing yourself. Pity they discontinued the pattern.

Thank you, Will. And yessir, have to agree, these little pruning blades are superior for most things like box opening, scoring materials, and exactly that, opening those irritating clamshells! This little single backspring guy slips right in a pocket and will do the business when I don't want to carry a SAK Electrician.

My Mexican knife arrived. Funny proportions, but the handle isn't much if any shorter than the Buck 119.

I'll let the epoxy in the wormholes dry overnight before I sand it down.
I gave it a good dip in kerosene first, just to be sure there was nothing alive in there.

My cousin’s husband passed away this year. He had a nice collection of knives, which she dispersed to relatives at our family reunion this summer. I wasn’t present, but my brother picked up a couple for me. This is my favorite of the two, and I am extremely grateful for both. It’s a Case George Bush Presidential Trapper.
