Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Just arrived -- a Coffin Jack from Titusville Cutlery. The genuine Paua Abalone covers are gorgeous, and the build on this knife is flawless. This one is a single blade, so it's slender in the pocket. Nice long spear, and the long pull suits it perfectly.
I continue to be very impressed with the quality of knives being produced by the Daniels Family.

Today I picked up this little PROTO ( Utica Kutmaster rebrand ) lockback at a discount / closeout tool store down the street from my mom's house that I've been shopping at since I was a teenager .

It is brand new old stock ( discontinued a few years ago ) , but PROTO offers a lot of their tools open stock with just a barcode so it's got some shelf wear on it.
It's no Buck, but I mostly just bought it based on the PROTO tang stamp and for $26 I'm satisfied with it.

Here it is compared to a pretty bad UTICA Factory Second that I bought for $4 from SMKW 10 years ago.

I wanted to clean up the brass and while I was at it I decided to round off the edges off the frame because I didn't like how they were inconsistently chamfered.

Not that it matters, but the knife looks a lot more like a mini Buck 110 now.

Those look even smaller than a Buck 112. Is there a Buck that same size, and if so, what number is it?
Buck has the 55 and the 503 that are a little bigger than this, then they had the 505 knight which was smaller than this but was discontinued last year.
It was built on the same frame and blade as the 425 524 & 525.

Bucks smallest lockback with a clip point blade is the 55.

Schrade LB1, Buck 505, UTICA PROTO, Buck 55, Buck 112, and Buck 110.
