Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I have a six-foot tapered bo and a five-foot shovel (?) handle, that would fit with not much work, and a three-foot handle that is a piece of a snow shovel that would fit with more work, but this (??-) handle might be just about right.
It was about two feet long, with a molded plastic handle I sawed off of one end, and a bore-hole to receive a tang, that I sawed off the other end. The billhook itself arrived today.

9.75" blade, 4" socket, exposed handle 9". The balance point is at the base of the edge. Comfortable with one or two hands.

As with many of the great finds, it was thanks to another very kind member here who knew I was looking for one and gave me first dibs when they decided to move it along.

Absolutely thrilled to have one again, and this bone is probably my favorite version of the stainless 15.
