Old Engineer A very nice arrival there Harry I feel the Black Box version of this pattern is actually superior to the CASE/Bose Collab one. Despite allegedly superior materials, it's not as well proportioned as the Black Box, blades look rather weedy to my eye. The Black Box is also a pretty looking knife, well landed!

The Teardrop is also another tidy smaller pattern.

So, I finally managed to take a photo of the garden knife that arrived today; maybe I can find out the manufacturer. Coincidentally, I also received another Lanny's midlock

The old one is just magnificent, although the previous owner almost destroyed everything with his polishing. So far I have this assumption - J Saville :

Been a while, been busy with medical and life stuff. Anywhos, a couple things this week.

Moki build Al Mar Hawk in Honey Jigged Bone, looks like it was barely used, wonderful F&F. A little dirty in spots and some small surface scratches on the bolsters, will do a cleanup and oiling this weekend.

Another Case Crossroads Barlow. I'm preferring the feel of the Richlite on the other two over the burlap laminate on this one. Same build and F&F as the first two - good to go.

Daniel Keown rebladed this old wire jack for me (I’m guessing it’s a Schrade frame?
Really not sure) with a brand new hawkbill. Makes a super lightweight pocket tool and a great pruner!

Got a sweet surprise in the mail today. paulhilborn gifted me this wonderful Case XX USA 9 dot 6383 whittler. I do love a nice splitback whittler. This one is mint and has not seen a days work. Thank you my friend. It will be in the pocket used and appreciated.

It is a great little knife and just like new . I could not be happier with it . It was made by Queen in 1987 and has Very Dark Rodgers Jigged Bone .

Not strictly new as this arrived with my bundle of new French beauties from VCM3 but this is the first time I’ve carried it. New Max Sao Humpback [EDIT: half whittler] in pretty purple bone.
