Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

That No.26 is an eye-catcher! I like the pattern a lot, having a White Carved Stag Bone version. How the fit & finish on yours ? It certainly looks a handsome knife.

Thanks, Will

The fit & finish is every bit as good as my Bark River fixed blades, and that's saying something.

I received two great knives today, one that I was fortunate to win in a GAW from G2 (Gary W. Graley) and one from Jamie (blademan 13) that I picked up from the Exchange.

G2 was very kind to give away this handsome Sowbelly:

...and Jamie sent along this fantastic French Ivory George Wostenholm IXL Pen Knife:

(ignore the oil on the blade, I didn't grab a rag to wipe it off before picture time.)

Thank you so much, Jamie and Gary!

Whoa, congrats on winning the Daily Double, Shawn!!:thumbup:

I've been wanting to try a Barlow and have been on the lookout for the right one for a while now. I was happy to find this Camillus #51 with Sawcut Delrin handles. It is in great shape and appears to still have the factory edge.

That's a nice find! I've been looking in flea markets, etc for a nice Barlow, but all I've seen are ones with broken or missing handles & blades that have been ground away with bench grinders. I'll keep looking though.

I just received this Scagel #14 from David (MajorD) on the exchange. It's from Northwoods by Queen. Two beautiful blades, and gorgeous stag with the inlaid arrowhead shield.

I've always liked the Scagel style, with the shield by the butt with the exposed pin and the throughcut nicks. That's a great example. Congrats on the pickup, and thanks for sharing.

That is utterly cool. Good thing I have room on my "must have" list, one of these is going on my Christmas list for sure.....thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments Cory and Sonny. I'll get some more photos up asap because this knife is a beast and made beautifully. As a reproduction it represents a fine piece of knife history.

Thanks mitch4ging, Harry, and Ironbut. Now I just need to get it sharpened up and into my pocket. :)

luskrb welcome to the porch! That's a lovely addition you've got there. Is it your first traditional?

Two new arrivals today...

A New York Knife Co, Hammer Brand Jack with BEAUTIFUL Jigged bone, solid blades that sharpened to that "scary sharp" vintage steel acheives:thumbup:

That along with "WHAT ANOTHER RED BONE CASE PRUNER"!!!:D again full and solid blade. I guess I put CASE red bone into that mystique campfire category. No two are exactly alike and I feel they are truly mesmerizing:o
