Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I received this one just a few days ago, after looking for a nice example for over a year. For whatever reason, I really like Case's silver script shielding, and this one just sings to me! Midnight bone sowbelly from 2003.

Ooh, I really like the belly on that main blade. Kinda like a slightly pointier Sodbuster blade.

And then there were two,
one is old , the other is new...

Making me envious, man. I'd never seen that dressing before, and now I want one to go with my cocobolo 66s.

Thanks Traumkommode, its one of my all time favorite GEC patterns, and I just happened to be at the right place/right time on the bay to snag it. I put the coping and EO notch mods on both, which I prefer on the 85's. I like the mod that you did on the moose as well. The 66/68 is a sweet spot for the perfect pocket knife size, I hope GEC makes more in the near future.

Me, too. I sent in a request that they do a run of slim 66s with the regular (non muskrat) clip and a coping blade, with cocobolo Northfield dressing and cloud shield. Here's to hope!

My newest acquired in a trade with Mr Barlow himself, Charlie C. :D
It's actually my grandson's, but I'm the keeper of the blades for now. ;)

This one came without the tube as well. I don't really care as it's not going anywhere. ;):D

Thanks Ron. Truly special indeed.

true! mine isnt going anywhere either, perhaps its best to leave it that way, in the plastic bag!
Yep. The tube is really only of value if you intend to sell to a collector. If the knife is to be used or for keeps, it doesn't really matter other than the reading content of the back labels. ;)

Very nice, Bob! Just my opinion, but I think the saw cut bone just looks like it belongs on the Barlow. Maybe it's because all my Barlows as a kid had the imitation saw cut bone delrin covers on them.:)

indeed, it has too much sentimental value for me to be let go at a price. definitely a keeper of the 15s. those labels are all here some where aint they?
