Clay

An excellent gift! Looks great!

My newest stag. A 57 Wrangler. I passed on the 2016 BF knife. This way I get my favorite cover, a nice clip blade, a punch and an extra blade.
Also it was released on my 65th birthday.

Very nice, Alan; getting a GEC that shares your birthday is super-cool!:cool:

Congrats, Clay; that's a big, bold Buck shield on that one!

I got this Opinel yesterday. Sharp out of the box.

Congrats on that slender slicer, Dean!

Look at what just arrived in the mail! I just couldn't resist... :)

Thanks to Harry being such a good enabler, I received my newly ordered Case Rogers Walnut Stockman today. :) Thanks, Harry. Really. This Rogers Walnut is really nice!

A Cripple Creek Barlow. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this knife! Fit and finish are perfect. Walk and talk are perfect.

John, you've been on an admirable roll for quite a while!! That British clip is just Wright; the Rogers walnut stockman is exactly the model I'd have chosen (or, I could rephrase that as, "I'm so envious!" ;)); the Cripple Creek Barlow looks fabulous, and fairly unique here on The Porch, IIRC!

Well said Bob! Being new around here I had not seen this "flipping" before. I was surprised.
I'm surprised, too, and maybe even more surprised that folks will pay what the flippers are asking (but I'm not very economically sophisticated in the ways of the pocket knife market).

Here's my Peachseed Tom's Choice Barlow:

One of my favorite things about it is the pile side cover seems to have been sawcut prior to jigging:

The chestnut tone is a classic, close to the copperhead from the 77 run. Makes me wonder about those saw cuts.
That's very cool and unusual bone for sure, TK!

A wonderful gift from my close friend Mister Duncan Morgan:cool::thumbup:

Thank you Duncan, LOVE this knife:)

Congrats on the brand new TC, Paul! Very generous, Duncan; so in character for you!:cool:

My wife got me this for Christmas. Super excited. The bail called out for a cool lanyard. Because I can't make one I put this on there. Probably won't stay but I tried. Hehe.

Great choice by your wife, RobertK, and I like your hangman's noose lanyard!

That's a handsome RR peanut, deltaboy!!

Just arrived for Christmas from my wife, two beautiful stag jacks from Great Eastern Cutlery, with nicely matched covers on both.

Merry Christmas to you, Jeff; your wife done good! (When you guys say you get these knives from your wives, is that literally true? You don't have any idea what's coming? My wife "got me some knives" for my birthday and for Christmas, but I selected them, ordered them, paid for them, and wrapped them. :D Not sure I'd trust her to buy knives for me without supervision; shoot, I don't trust myself to do the job sometimes ;))

Great picture RobertK! The wife gave me this one, and a new pair of moccasins. My lanyard attempt was from the laces that were on the old moccasins. Will try it again someday soon with some new leather lacing.
