Wow very nice ! And your wife has great taste 😊My wife got me this for Christmas. Super excited. The bail called out for a cool lanyard. Because I can't make one I put this on there. Probably won't stay but I tried. Hehe.

Here's my Peachseed Tom's Choice Barlow:

This one has excellent walk and talk. And it has some little imperfections that make me love it all the more. Sometimes, I get a knife from GEC that has no imperfections, and there's nothing wrong with that, but this one had a way of telling me that it's mine.

One of my favorite things about it is the pile side cover seems to have been sawcut prior to jigging:

The chestnut tone is a classic, close to the copperhead from the 77 run. Makes me wonder about those saw cuts.
Agreed and was tempted to buy one but what spooked me is almost everyone is selling them . I'm guessing for profit but I'm not sure what the dealers were selling them for . They are beautiful blades 👍 But omg I don't think I've ever seen so many of the same knife being sold on the boards. Scared me from buying one . Pretty sad because I really wanted one .
You captured it nicely GE Jr. It's refreshing to see a few going into people's pockets instead of right to the exchange the minute they get them in the mail.
Thanks so much for the clarification because I really didn't know if there were issues with the knife and or flipper's just trying to make a buck . With that being said now that I know I wouldn't mind paying a mark up fee although preferably not . They are such beautiful knives it's going to be hard to resist now that I know the knives are good to go .I paid $123 as an original purchaser from a GEC dealer. The flippers are definitely looking to profit and bought the knife with that in mind in the first place. It speaks to the flipper mentality not the desirability of the knife. IMO
Just arrived for Christmas from my wife, two beautiful stag jacks from Great Eastern Cutlery, with nicely matched covers on both.

For sure and had the chance to pick a few up around that price but again because of not knowing what was going on I passed . But now that I know why I'll be more ready to pull the trigger 👍You're welcome. Good luck. There are a few out there. I saw at least one go for $175.
