JBF Champlin Eureka Jack... Wow!

Holy moly, what a beauty!

It's not all that pretty like many of the barlows I see here, but it takes me back. My grandfather used to only carry barlows and my dad work for Sears for a time. I saw this on Ebay and couldn't pass it up. It's solid, good walk and talk, and dang, it takes an edge.

Thanks pertinux, I love this knife! It's a Case 6235 1/2 pattern. It's almost just like a barlow without the long bolster. I think the handles are appaloosa bone. It's a shame this pattern isn't produced any more.
Dpowers311, the other 2 are a full size trapper and 6318 stockman. They all date from the 80's. I am not sure what the technical name is for the bone on the last two if anyone knows. The trapper is carbon and the other two are stainless. I picked these up new in box from a person selling his collection. But they are too nice not to use :)

This is all your fault, Thieves! :D

Wow second pic of this knife pushed me over the edge. It was hard to find but I found one just like it! Love that Golden Rod Micarta.

I'm liking this Griffon from Bridgeport CN. It's in pretty good condition other than what appears to be a repair on the mark side handle near the pivot end bolster, and someone got a little carried away polishing the blades.

Beautiful bone there!

Hi Red, Does the 6318 have a thick middle liner like the new ones ir is the knife nice and slim?

Yes, it does have the thinner middle liner. The blades seem to sit closer together. But overall width seems to be about the same as my newer one. But the thing I like best about it is the sheep's foot blade sits a lot lower. It doesn't dig into your hand as bad. It is still a nice a slim knife for pocket carry.
