Alan, I didn't know you were a pilot, but that's pretty cool that they put that etch on there for you.

What kind of testing protocols are you gonna put it through? :D

Seriously though, a very nice looking knife. For the amber bone being their standard bone, it still always looks great.

Very good Jeff, I'm a lot of things but a pilot....lol. This one is going to get the hard use test, tomatoes, cheese, French bread, and finally a big thick steak. I may even go into the park and whittle a pointy stick.

First GEC came today and I'm lovin it! It's going to get some serious pocket time tomorrow!

Sounds excellent!

 Hopefully right around the time I make my annual summer road trip that takes me past a certain Missouri Case dealer.

Very nice picture, gives a good sense of how sturdy & thick these are as work-knives, yet really comfortable in the hand. Got my Red Burgundy on Monday, not my first GEC though..:D and thoroughly delighted by it. Only tasks I've used it for is to cut open bundles of heating briquettes (compressed sawdust that give a lot of heat in stoves) and a couple of apples and cheese. It will make a great outdoor knife, in the garden, walking in the forest, house maintenance etc.

Regards, Will

Thank you very much! All I've used it for is opening a envelope. So far I'm very happy with it! Fit and finish are perfect. The only complaint I have if any and it's no big deal is that sucker has quit the pull to it.

Daniel Thanks, your reaction to the pull might just be because you're now quite used to Traditionals yet. My Bullnose feels mild to me but I've got other GECs that really test my very tough nails...:eek::D:D

That's a beautiful coffin jack, Will!
I kept going back and forth on one on the exchange a couple months back, but thankfully somebody finally grabbed it.

Erik Thanks, I cleaned it up a bit as it was slightly tarnished from non-use and I'm very pleased with it. The knurled bolster and that old bone Queen used back in 1987 when these were made give a quality look. If you see another, I recommend trying it out!
