With the color varying greatly on the different examples online I was a bit anxious about what I would receive. I have to say it turned out great [emoji41] The only flaw I could find in the short time I've owned it is the uneven edge: one side is a sharpened on a steeper angle than the other. Before I remedy that, I first have to learn to close it onehanded without hitting my thumb with the blades edge [emoji16]

Beautiful candy apple red, Mark, it really glows!

I just added another Boker, this one a Tree Brand Classic #7474 stockman from 1974. Some of the best looking bone on any knife I've ever handled, plus the grinds are thin and the edges very even and sharp. Deep jigging with Indian trails (or worm groove) on the pile side. 4 inches closed. Already one of my favorites.

Thanks, Harry. The domed pins are really nicely done, too. Sometimes it's actually true: they don't make 'em like they used to.

Will. Once I have my Stag Whips in hand, I plan to make one of those 13's a regular carry. So we will find out if it wears in?

I sure hope you intend to carry your Stag in a slip Alan . Nothing worse than Green Stag .
The Stag for sure will "Wear in " and develop some patina on it and it can happen fairly quick if you do it right . And it just looks better IMO afterward .

Just great Jeff: I have not stepped out of GEC and Case yet, except my Davison's and my wonderful Joe Allen.

I need to step out based on your posts and photos

Thanks Black Mamba! You've got a beautiful specimen there yourself. The bone color and jigging with indian trails looks great!

GEC Tidioute #13 Speaker Jack with muslin micarta scales. The first GEC I've seen with brushed bolsters.

How crowded is that knife? Any blade rub? It looks great, and I've been looking at them for a while now! Their barrows look pretty good too.
