, Gary, I would just go ahead and do a forced patina to blend it in. Clean and dry the blades with some rubbing alcohol. Heat up some white or apple cider vinegar in the microwave for one minute and then stand the open knife in the vinegar tips down for about a minute or so, or until the blades get evenly dark. Don't worry if they look black. After removing from the vinegar, rinse with water to neutralize. then wipe the blades with some WD-40 on a rag or very fine Scotch-Brite (gray, not the green pads) until you achieve the desired light gray patina. oil the joints and you're done.
