Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Congrats on obtaining one of the finest Sir !!!! Welcome to the Old Red Sawcut Bone 77 Northfield Barlow Club !!!!

Harry

Thanks Harry - I am glad to be amongst your ranks. Definitely one of my favorites and one that doesn’t come up for sale very often. I couldn’t believe it still had the factory oil on it.

Will do. oiled her up and hit her with some steel wool and got the walk and talk back...sorta. then lots of soap and water, then more oil. She got real sloppy so I did some light peening... No more side to side, now she talks but not walking so well...still gunked up. Now gonna soak her in oil. Handle smells kinda like a piece of black paper micarta i bought years ago
She’ll start talking just give her some more love . She’s probably still mad because someone barried her in the dirt :D

It is good to have you in the club Sir . I have had mine for almost 3 years now and every time I pull it out of the drawer I think how lucky I am . I also have one from that vintage with the Sheepsfoot blade that probably still has the factory oil on it .

....and the second one showed up today

Beautiful knives there. If a person doesn't mind Delrin covers, it's awfully hard to go wrong with a Camillus, especially the Remington reissues. They really were excellent knives. It's as if Camillus went the extra mile on them, to make the fit and finish especially good.

....and I picked up another one. Why on earth would I need two of the same knife???

LOL. Don't even get me started. I delude myself by speaking of variations, and other equally bad excuses.

  • This one came in a red cardboard box.
  • This one is the same as the last one, but it came in a green cardboard box.
  • This one has slightly different jigging, but the rest of the knife is identical.
  • This is the same exact knife as the last three, but with a different shield.
  • This is my favorite one, and I got a spare in case I lose it or use it up.
  • I got a third in case I lose the first two.
  • This exact same knife is for my child on their 20th birthday.

A Schatt & Morgan 69 single carbon blade jack in Torched Stag, man, I really like this one:thumbsup: This is Queen done right, f&f, walk and talk, all good with this one:cool:
