Wicked, Paul! That blade is awesome! He nailed it.
Thanks guys, it's basically a prototype (1st produced) that Mark made over a year ago. He's set knife making on the back burner as he purchased a new business and that's taken any and all of his free time. I THINK he got the pattern from Tony? but the clip is outstanding so I'll post better pictures of it in the days to come. It's 1095 and has an awesome swedge and is WICKED sharp. It's earned a nice patina that I can add to over time. Mark told me to show Duncan and do as much taunting as possible and to make Duncan understands that he DID NOT gift it to Duncan. I believe that's what Mark saidWicked e sharp indeed !!!! Masterful Mark !
Thank you and in regards to the 35, of the 3 I own (Banana bone/Stag) I like the ebony the best. To me it screams "classic" pocket knife. I waffle between the Northfield and Tidioute trim but in this case the Tidioute wins out![]()
Black as night my friend, you got a nice oneJust received today my friend, quick photo...she's a beauty and jet black! Going straight into carry rotation...

Here she is now. Not doing much more cause i like it like this. Nice rustic look, great walk and talk, centered blade with zero side to side. Less up and down than my 72..Although the gap under the lock is smaller...HAHA! WNice find !
Post some after pictures if you can that would awesome !!
Oh man that baby looks good !!!Here she is now. Not doing much more cause i like it like this. Nice rustic look, great walk and talk, centered blade with zero side to side. Less up and down than my 72..Although the gap under the lock is smaller...HAHA! With the big gap under the lockbar i was able to pour table salt of all things inside the knife as an abrasive and work the spring back and forth to clean out the guts.![]()
