Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I do Scott. Its perfect for my hand anyway. Mine may be slightly larger than the red one Scott posted, I'm only going by the amount of pins in mine versus his but as I said, perfect for me. 3 quick and dirty shots for the Doc! I don't know if I would choose it for my first. I would go with what you dream of for a first custom IMO.

Thanks, Perry, for the photos and the opinion!

2014 BF knife arrived Saturday. It is a 2nd that I picked up from Gunstock Jack and it is new. It's going to make a dandy edc.

Here's my newest, just arrived. The pile side looks a little plain. But it really looks like natural, weathered stag, and photos do not do it justice.

If it looks familiar, I think I am the third owner of this one, so you might have seen it here before.

I should just stop acquiring these things now. But I know I won't. Not with Bill and Charlie coming up with things like Palo Santo. :o

That is a SWEET third cut, Scott! The third cuts really embody the humble origins of Charlie's barlows. Possibly my favorite covers so far.

Thanks, Philllll! I Iove stag handles: first, second, or third cut. And I love the waste-not, working knife back story of these traditional Barlows and recycled handle covers. The nature of the material makes each knife unique. I am lucky to have this one. Life is good!

Picked this one up this past weekend, poor lighting in the store and I didn't really notice the markings on the bolsters...My apologies for the cell phone pic.

Do I give it a good cleaning and leave the bolsters as they are?

I like it! I vote for buffing the bolsters to try to clean them up, and then leave the patina on the blades.

Aww, gee whiz! Paul, Perry, and Ron: thanks for the compliments and encouragement!

Shawn/GBPacker: sorry about the game on Sunday! That's a hard way to end the season. But I noticed you have gone gold, and I wanted to acknowledge your investment in our community. It looks good on you!

Thanks Scott, I'm bummed about the game, but happy to have upgraded my subscription. Appreciate you reaching out before.

Some really fine examples posted by everyone.
This one most recent older Case pen with some nice stag.

Gorgeous looking 3rd cut Scott!

Well, the last of my epic run of knives from the last two weeks finally trickled in and I was able to snap a few photos...
