Back from a mini-vacation, picked up a yellow cv Case mini trapper and a black Buck 301. Also found an Imperial electrician at an antique store. I don't know much about the Imperial, but I'll get some pics posted and maybe someone can provide some info.

These two arrived this morning, #85 Bullet Jack & #66 Calf Roper, my joy knows no bounds. Now all i have to do is polish out those etchings.

I'm not much on etchings either, but I like that Calf Roper etching on your fine looking Stockman. OH

She's a beauty, Scott! I too own one of these in yellow paper base Micarta and one of my favorite carries.

My first custom traditional thanks to a trade from another awesome BF member:

Scott, that is a beauty! Perry, can you post a picture of yours )for the sake of comparison)?!

A question for you both: Do you like this enough...if you had to buy it all over again...would you choose it a second time? Would you recommend it as a first custom knife for someone who has never bought a custom?

I do Scott. Its perfect for my hand anyway. Mine may be slightly larger than the red one Scott posted, I'm only going by the amount of pins in mine versus his but as I said, perfect for me. 3 quick and dirty shots for the Doc! I don't know if I would choose it for my first. I would go with what you dream of for a first custom IMO.
