Very nice mail call Forrest, I was going to mention the Yankee Whittler in your other post earlier today. Glad the Ram Foot found it's rightful owner:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Birthday present from the wife!

It's a Boker barlow with an acid washed O1 steel blade and covers made from original oak timber reclaimed from Burg Castle in Solingen, Germany which was completed in 1133. Boy is it a sweet knife! Easily the best fit and finish I have seen from Boker in my limited experience. You can tell they really put some heart into this knife. :) Only 1133 made.

That crazyCanuck has been a bad influence on me... he keeps showing off his 6292 Texas Jack, and here I am, born and raised Texan, and I didn't have one...
Well.... now I do. I found this 1983 pristine example on the 'bay... I think it still has the factory edges on it These are really nice, big knives... I think I'm going to like it a lot...

I deeply, deeply appreciate it, Paul! I have carried other knives, but with this Ram Foot (instead of!), it's been in my pocket in a slip every single day since the moment I got it. That's a rarity for me, to be sure. I always like to switch things up, but I just can't seem to leave this one sitting in the case!
