Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

My most recent acquisitions.

GEC Camp Knife I got 2 weeks ago, need to take an updated pic soon as it's already picking up some patina.

Had both of these about a week. Done a lot of whittling, leather working, and some hike lunches with them already.

Daily Double :(
No ! Just a single . I really did do nothing today except work on a puzzle and get the mail and smile about the extra money from the Gov. going into the bank . Did use the one opening a box of Kuerig Coffee shipment . Oh yeah . Re-Plugged in the Cat's water pan heater . We had ice and very light snow on the bird bath again this morning . Warmer weather is a day away though .

What I meant by the phrase “Daily Double” was a double post. The forum software is so slow at night for me I almost won’t bother trying to post! :( I’m glad your weather is going to warm soon Harry. I know how much you enjoy working in your yard and garden spot! We were smiling about that extra Gov money too! :D Y’all stay safe my friend! :)

Practically minty fresh! It's hard to imagine these cost about $5 when they were new . . . what a bargain!
Many years ago my Dad overheard a couple of relatives complaining that milk cost $2 per gallon. He looked at me and said, "I remember when milk was 10 cents per gallon. We didn't have 10 cents. Now I've got the $2."
Always though that was pretty good. Of course I'm biased ;)

There are few things in life more relative than prices. I can remember about 40 years ago seeing a 1920s catalog where a Colt single action Army revolver was about $19, and thinking WOW, what a deal. When I realized that was about a month's wage for some people, I reconsidered. The first new car my dad bought in the mid 1960s was a 4-door V8, and cost about $2,000. The same car today would be closer to $30,000, but may actually be more affordable. Food for thought.
