Thanks Will and Perry, I usually prefer jigged bone to smooth, but this one is very sensual with it's great curves and the "speckled" coloration is very interesting.

Thanks Perry - I've come to really enjoy a knife with a cool etch on it, so thought I'd pick this one up. Has excellent walk and talk, flush half-stops, and is just a solid piece…who knows, I might just keep it Going to have to do a hard inventory and pairing down here is about a month…it's time

Lack of an etch is my only potential "gripe" about the otherwise beautiful new 77 Barlows coming out, I personally would have loved to see an etch on them (honestly, being new to this whole thing, I assumed it for some reason).

This Remington Congress was a complete surprise. Found it in my mailbox today and although I knew there was a knife inside the package, I had no idea why it was in my mailbox and I didn't recognize the return address.

As it turns out, my name was drawn at the Gateway Area Knife Show that I attended last month in St. Louis. This sweet little Remington was the prize. I remember filling out a form for a drawing but I just figured I didn't win anything.

What a pleasant surprise!
