Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Northwoods Gladiator... what a great knife. This is a big knife. I think same pattern as the GEC #54 moose. The cutouts in lieu of the nail nicks work real well. Here is the unique twist on this one... it has S60V blades. They are ground thin and are super slicers!

Love this knife!

Nice Barkie SH. The red liners are a nice touch.

Thanks. I think this is the lightest and most nimble interpretation of the Kephart design I've handled yet. I've only had a little time to play around with it in the kitchen this afternoon but it performed flawlessley, and hopefully tomorrow I'll find a little time to get out in the woods with it.

I would like to hear more of your thoughts on it after you use in the woods too. I am thinking this will be my next Barkie purchase.

I agree, that is a very nice looking knife, SH! I would be interested in your woods impressions as well:thumbup: Great looking slabs too!

These two SFOs showed up in the mail box today... which was nice, as I didn't expect them for another couple of days.

This one hasn't left my pocket since the moment it arrived nearly a week ago. I absolutely LOVE this sheepfoot #77 Barlow in African Blackwood! It's truly a beauty and this is perhaps my absolute favorite blade anymore these days.

A couple new ones this week. The #64 has already earned a special place in the rotation and the #77 is not exactly a slouch either

That's a great looking knife. I don't know that I have ever seen one before.

Is the Northwoods Gladiator from a few years back when Dave Shirley was bringing out the Scagel style folders ? I too have not seen one before, or any Traditional with S60V steel. How is edge holding & re-sharpening ?
