Couldn't resist this little Rough Rider lockback in carbon steel, couldn't resist testing if it really was carbon steel with some ketchup

This sowbelly trapper was kinda neat so of course it came home as well.

Turns out that the peak at the end of the spey was uncomfortable to down right painful to the inside of my little finger during a few test cuts However using a small Nicholson file I modded it into kinda a drop point and its good to go now

I waited way too long to pick up this pair of Mora 510 Allrounds. These used to be the most rudimentary of Moras, and sold fot 5 or 6 bucks. Morakniv discontinued the 510s, and supplanted them supplanted them with the 511, which still sells for under $10.

Then, in response to the deafening public outcry, they reissued the 510 at an extravagantly inflated price. I had to give $26 for the pair. Still, it’s everything you need in a Mora, and nothing you don’t.
