It's 4-1/8" closed and the steel is 7CR17MoV. So far I'm liking it, not many large jacks outside of GEC on the market. And especially not many (any?)in this price range.

Also wanted to mention that the blade doesn't rest on the kick when closed. Theres a pin in there that appears to nest in the choil.

So... a thing happened. The castle wood version was lonely, so a companion showed up today.

Actually, even though I'm not going to treat the castle wood as a safe queen, it's nice enough I'll use it but not in the daily/ weekly knife rotations. The Grenadill version is going into the rotation pile.

I just had to get one of these. The walk and talk could not be any better. It's perfect!

USA+. Slightly soft main pull, but no play. It almost looked unused, but it has patina on the outside of the springs and rust spots inside, and those little dings in the main edge. $12. I was feeling susceptible.
