Those are both very attractive![]()
Thanks guys! These are a bit older models that I picked up partly because I’ve heard, (and it certainly seems to be the case judging by their recent offerings) that they are moving away from multi-blade knives and I got a pretty good deal on them. I think the new ones, especially the Barlows are a step up from these. I got these to carry and they are perfect for that.Love the Buckskin Bone.![]()
Got these in from a couple of trades today. Excited for my first 66, and it’s even better that it’s in blue camel bone which is just about my favorite handle material.

I’m enjoying it so far. I don’t blame you!I think the 66 pattern is probably the perfect sized all around stockman. May be the reason I bought 4 of them![]()
Very nice, that 66 is sweet! That’s a pattern I don’t have yet either, always looking!Got these in from a couple of trades today. Excited for my first 66, and it’s even better that it’s in blue camel bone which is just about my favorite handle material.

Those 66's are hard to beat for a good all-around stockman. I have one in OD green micarta that I picked up used on the exchange over a year ago. Great knives...I’m enjoying it so far. I don’t blame you!
Great pattern, I’ve got 5 of them. Have you ever considered a blade delete for one of them? Had one done on my tortoise, best thing I ever did. One of my absolute favorite carries now.I picked up a GEC 86 a week or so ago because I always thought I would like the pattern. Just got another today with one more on the way. I think it qualifies as an addiction.

I’ve heard and seen people doing those and they look great. I’m not sure how one goes about it though. It would definitely be worth considering to change one up a bit.Have you ever considered a blade delete for one of them? Had one done on my tortoise, best thing I ever did.
