Very nice... I had one of those, once upon a time. 🤠

Today and since I received the 2020 Forum knife from Kevin, (Seas165) I’ve been carryin’ the Viper Swayback Jack from Italy.

I really started off not wanting to like this knife. It had everything wrong before it even got started. It was made someplace other than the US. It was more of a modern Traditional or a modern interpretation of an old Traditional style. Any way I look at it it surprised the heck outta me.

The blade was centered perfectly the M390 steel is a pleasure to work with. The attention to the little details were beyond what is common for today american made blades.

The radiused spine, the sunken tang, all the sharp edges were broken except the one that’s supposed to be sharp.

Color me impressed, I’d highly recommend this knife to anyone lookin’ for some knice pocket jewelry that’s a perfectly serviceable steel. I’m lookin’ forward to seein’ how well the M390 holds up to the steels I’m more familiar with
Completely agree! I'm not a fan of ram's horn, so I waited and bought the same knife in Amboyna Burl from Mike @ CK. The first thing I did was compare it to my GEC Northfield Viper. Everything about it was superior (for me): blade material, size, weight, etc. I immediately sold my GEC for twice the price of the (again for me) superior Italian Viper.

Boker USA 9815, Found at local antique mall. Buffed and cleaned hard, no blade etch left. Couldn't stand how the blade looked buffed so I stoned the flats of the blade and recut the swedge. I figured it was already "ruined" I might as well redress the flats and get a patina going. Think its gonna make a great user. My first knife with washington bolsters 👍

Nice TE59, in my opinion, that’s an under appreciated knife. I had one and sold it, but I still have 3 more. Hope you enjoy it. 😊👍
I wish I would've gotten one when they were still collecting dust on shelves. But I can't complain to much, I got a good deal on this one.

SAK Classic SD and aluminum Excelsior arrived.

The Classic is even smaller than I anticipated. Going on my keychain, and I'll see how I get along with it over the next month or two.

The Excelsior is about the same length as a Case Pen Knife, slightly taller, noticeably lighter, only about half as thick, and doesn't have the clip main blade.
