Just received my Joker. Nice little (3.5") knife.no half stop with good w&t and very sharp. The only problem I can see is something that the big river site should have picked up on. You would think being named after the world's largest rainforest they could tell the difference between bubinga (ordered) wood and the plastic I received. Hahaha! Whatta ya think Gary? @5K QsView attachment 1698598
Beautiful slip and knife Barrett and a wonderful gesture JohnThat’s an interesting mix-up!I have to say, though, I’ve always kind of liked the looks of those plastic handles.
I have a similar Joker (wood handles) that was a gift from
Jack Black and I really like it.
Speaking of gifts, these showed up in the mail earlier today.JohnDF had told me he was sending me one of his pocket slips, but he failed to mention that he left this nice Case Trapper in the slip!
They’re both great, thank you, John!

That looks great and functional! This friction folder by Juha Perttula. I made the pocket sheath myself.

The Clip Blade is simply perfect - all the right lines. Handles ain’t bad either! Very nice. OH
“Hail to the Hotdog!”For under $30 I had to try one of these out for myself.
It's actually a very well put-together knife, looks pretty with the blue g10 liners, and locks up super solid... 440C to boot.
Always wanted a locking Sodbuster with a Clip Blade... kind of a Trapper/Sodbuster hybrid. And who doesn't love a hotdog shield?

That is real nice. I'd say you made out pretty good. What is that pattern in the scales called?
