This knife shipped from Florida on the 21st and wasn't supposed to be here until Monday. USPS tracking showed in on Key Biscayne on the 22nd and then "In Transit" yesterday... so it was a total surprise to find it in my mailbox today 😃 The post office has done a much better job this holiday season than last year. Big thumbs up
and Merry Christmas to all you postal workers out there 👍

So, without further ado, I give you a Case 63046 W.H., three spring whittler. Kind of a rare one in that the 46 pattern whittlers don't show up very often. The stockmans are much more common. Dark red bone with CV steel. It's in unused condition.

Great find Mike, what a cool little whittler, and in CV! 😎👍

Surprisingly arrived today, on schedule, was expecting a delay due to the amount of holiday shipping. Kudos to the FedEx peeps.

Case Barehead Sway Back Gent, Sawcut Amber Bone. More pics and a little initial review to go in the "Let's See Your Case Knives Old to New" thread, shortly.

Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays to the denizens of The Porch and their families.

I got this on a whim from KSF last week: Ayama Small Chef Knife , Olivewood, AUS-10.

This is a beautiful nice quality knife that came as described. When it arrived it was a littler smaller and heavier than I imagined it would be. I was a little disappointed as I did not think it would be something I would use much in the kitchen. Fast forward to our extended family Christmas celebration. My Sister-in-law made ham and gave me the ham bone (for 15 bean soup). Today I used the Ayama to trim the meat off of the bone. (The meat and bone are now in the freezer). It was the perfect knife for the job! The smallness and heft was perfect for working around the bone and cutting the ham into smaller pieces!

Now to treat the wood handle and sheath with some mineral oil and then some cutting board cream/wax.

(This is KSF's picture.)

Awesome! That first one looks like the Navy knife my Dad had from WWII. Both the condition of the knife and the sheath. Brings back some memories...
Thank you. This is the nicest old one that I've seen. It seems that a lot of guys loved them enough to use them up pretty seriously.
