Arrived last night and very pleased with it. Got it from a vendor here in Finland and was lucky to get the last one...Otter's website in German says there are delays in deliveries due to ongoing shortages of raw materials...
About 3.75"/9cm All stainless construction, liners, bolster, pins, there is a carbon version too. The Spear is long and slim, I like it but others may want a broader type. Strong pull 8+ no half stop, great W&T, very sharp out of the box, zero blade-play, no discernible gaps, handle slabs are thick and excellently turned/radiused, very comfortable in hand, all pins totally flush (no raised burrs or sink-hole eye sores) The wood is far prettier than this poor pic, it's called Sapele a type of African Mahogany, nice grain and lighter colour. Cost around 50€ which I feel is very reasonable given he quality. One fault, end spring not cleanly cut off, slight angle but a diamond file can fix it. Seen badly cut springs on GECs ann English& French knives so this is a mild offender.
