That is really nice. I've been thinking for a while now that I want a good Toothpick in the collection. I might have to see if I can track one of those down...
The jigged bone and wood versions are still fairly easy to find, but a good stag one is a little more difficult. I like the GEC toothpicks because the blades are not as skinny as most other makes of this style... the blades on most others, to my eye, are way too slender and delicate looking. The GEC's are capable of just about anything a knife should be called on to do. Their blade shape reminds me more of the French laguiole knives.... which is a good thing.

I just received this wonderful gift from Dan, all the way from France... Thank you, @dantzk8
What makes it even more special is he knew I'd been searching for one for many years with no luck...So thoughtful!!!
I've always admired these knives. They are dead-simple and a solid work knife, useful in just about any situation. I'm so excite to have it.

Those are rare to see in the wild. I think GEC needs to do another run if those. Congrats John.

I made a trade for this knife.
I'm so happy to finally have a #77 Jack.
Especially with everybody showing their new Barlows.
I really love the Red Micarta, it's going to look so good with a dark patina... and the hotdog shield makes it perfect!
I think the non-barlow 77s and 15s are underrated (more so the 77s). I had a blonde ebony clip for awhile--some of the best W&T on a GEC. I like the spear with the nail nick a lot on this one!

😍😍😍😍
One love eyes wasn’t enough!
Thank you, Todd. :)

Thank you, Joshua. :)
I love the heft of this knife, it feels so solid.
It took me many years to finally land one of these, I've always thought they were a truly classic design.
