A few days ago he reached out to me and mentioned he had a Spring Street that he was willing to part. I have been hoping to find one as I missed out last year and felt blessed by the opportunity. So we made a trade and then Jeremy went over the top by sending this gorgeous slip he made for the knife.

Hey Porch friends. I haven't posted for a while - mostly due to some unexpected health issues that I was dealing with. Everything is good to go now though. I had a pretty epic mail call today. Finally found an 85 crown lifter in cherry bone (although I've had to cut back hard on the beer intake). It showed up today with this cool Schrade USA 206 Barlow. The Schrade was an ebay impulse buy, but I'm pretty impressed with it.

I can’t describe how happy I am to get these two knives. Thank you to a very generous porch member for letting them go. I won’t call you out in case you don’t want me to, but you know who you are!

Newest is a Case 6207w. I didn't need a Case 6207w. I already have this one in bone stag which has flawless F&F:

but...I got an excellent deal and didn't have any knives in "natural bone toasted color wash". Seriously. I double checked and everything. That's what it says on the box. "Natural bone toasted color wash."
Interesting finish that doesn't look like anything else I have.
It doesn't take much does it?
