Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I had good shopping this morning.
A Miller Brothers and three Bassetts. The mono looks like a Bassett but doesn't have a name on it. The homages I've seen are differently shaped.

That Miller Bros is fantastic. Congratulations!

My newest is an American Shear & Knife Co.

Before and after pictures. All I did was clean, de-rustify and sharpen.

Also, a little epoxy in a pile side crack, and a slight shaping on the top corner of the 'coping' blade to make it more pocket friendly:

My adult son is not an outdoorsman, hunter, or Soldier (he'll hike on rare occasions), so it was a complete surprise when he gifted me this beautiful custom knife while visiting on Christmas Day. Handmade with birds-eye Damascus steel blade and handled in Walrus and Burl. Came with a wonderful edge and a leather sheath featuring an Ostrich leg inlay. Really blew my socks off! OH

That is a beautiful Derr knife. If you ever want to sell it please let me know.

Stopped by a Pawn, Gun & Hardware today, first time in this store in a good year I’d guess - the owner recognized me and said he didn’t get in as many old knives anymore. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of old knives, but he had this one in the display case, I decided a Schrade USA 272 penknife would be nice to have, still in the original tube. OH

One sharp looking Schrade, I like it a lot.

Nice find. 👍

Bechmade Proper with clippoint - I like this more than the Weekender that I returned after buying a GEC Sudbuster, although it has less features. It's thinner and easier to carry in a small pocket, it was a great price, and I hear it's being discontinued.

I think I forgot to post these a little while ago, but a Cold Steel Kobun, and a San Mai Recon. The Kobun stays in my camping gear bag with a few other fixed blades for cooking, since last summer we showed up to the campground with no knives except for my Swamp Rat Ratmandu. The Recon is just for goofing around?
