Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Here are some more photos of my Badger show new additions, starting with a group photo in slightly better lighting (and without that freeloader Merle having snuck in). 🙂

On the first day I picked up this Wenger-made Swiss Buck…

…and this little Schrade, which has a bit of pitting but otherwise doesn’t look like it’s ever been used or sharpened.

On Saturday I grabbed this little Vic Classic. The grey color stood out to me in a pile of other Classics, and after squinting to read the seal on the back, I figured it was worth the $5 it cost.

I thought this little KA-BAR jack had some nice old stag, and the blades look mostly full and in decent shape.

This one is a bit curious. I’ll post some more about it over in the Barlow thread.

Wow Barrett that is quite the haul! I love the buck! Congratulations. Sounds like you men had a great time. 😎

Thanks, Pete. I’d been looking for one since I got my first Wenger SAK recently and started exploring some of the different unique knives they’ve made over the years. I’d passed up a few on eBay that seemed a little pricey, so I was glad to find one at the show. I like the clip point blade on it.

thats what i found in my book about the kind of barrels:

Thanks for the info.

What a good-looking knife!

Finally added a Case Peanut to my collection!

I have been wanting one for some time but have been waiting to specifically track down one of the shadow pattern versions to go with my other Case shadow patterns.

Those are too cool!

Although I also got this knife this past weekend, it wasn’t one that I picked up at the Badger show. This was a gift from my friend H herder , who first invited me to the show. We had plans to go in 2020, but the show was cancelled that year, and then again the following year. I finally got to go for the first time last year — and again this year, of course — and it’s been a whole lot of fun.

I have a decent little collection of #14s, including several from the initial run of the pattern in 2016, but I didn’t have one of these. This was Lyle Fry’s SFO from that year, and the only one (I believe) with the Lick Creek blade etch.

Thanks again for the knife, Neal, and for introducing me to the Badger show!

Great rundown and photos of some great finds, Barrett.

That is a really nice one. Don't see that one very often. Very nice of Neal.
