Black Stonewashed D2 Full flat grind
What a nice knife and fits the hand like a glove. The kydex reversible Sheath has no rattle and pops in and out tight with a nice snap.
She’s a slicer to !

Thank you Jim. I'm surprised by the density of the wood.Absolutely gorgeous, Bob! Love the look of rip cut black palm. Very nice!![]()
This might break the rules, but this is my first ever modern slipjoint (counting out Victorinox). This is a Manly Wasp. I was impressed by the price/quality - ratio of this knife.

I might remove the offending metal thing, because it ruins the experience and use a pocket sheath to carry this.I think it’s safe, as long as you don’t show the other side.![]()
I bought this on the exchange. 2013 SFO from Mikeknifeswapper Always wanted one in Smooth White Bone.
The second GEC I ever purchased was it's brethren in African Blackwood which oddly enough is not on the GEC totals 2013 page.

What The?...what do they think I'm going to do with it? WHY?
It is the standard California Proposition 65 warning label put on anything that contains or may contain one or more chemicals from a list of chemicals that are or may be potential hazards. This law seems like a case of possibly good intentions gone awry....gotta love the American legal system and bureaucracy...Surely the labelling has been delivered to the wrong place..?
These things had been on my radar for a while now. Then, one popped up on the exchange last week at a more than fair price, so:

I actually like it a lot. The action (for lack of a better word) is maybe the best I've personally encountered on a friction folder. It has about the same amount of resistance as a 6-pull slip joint, but since it's not a slip joint, it has a very different, uniform feel to it.Very nice! I’ve been looking Nontron knives recently, too. I wish they had more available in carbon steel. The only carbon model I’ve found (without having to order from France and pay expensive international shipping) is the No. 25, which seems quite large. Still, I may pick one up some time. How do you like it?
