That’s an interesting little knife. I have one a lot like it (also Japanese, I’m pretty sure, but I don’t remember what else if anything is stamped on it) that belonged to my grandpa, and has his initials engraved on it. Unfortunately, the spring(s) are broken, so everything just sort of flops out of it.

This is my newest addition.

btb01 btb01 At $8 retail it is surprisingly well made but that doesn’t take into consideration the steel. It was the thread about nail files that got me looking to replace an old SAK executive. It’s not that nice but I think it should satisfy.
That Albers is quite attractive.

I picked up the clubs, single-blade stockmans, the SFO Barlow. Agree on the value. Very happy with the knives.

Already had a couple copper Barlows and Expedition Barlow (before the current pricing).

Funny thing is I also have SMKWs exclusive Case trapper in burlap micarta and 1095 in the same order. Really worried about the QC on it given it’s a Case. I’ve had horrible luck with Case trappers lately. Not worried at all about the Bokers.

I don't have any of the Case SFOs, but I think I've seen one or two here and I don't think anyone was complaining about QC problems. Hopefully they all arrive with great QC for you.
