Japanese stainless lobster. I was surprised at the quality because the price matched the overall size of the little guy. Scissors worked cleanly, small sharp blade and a fair sized nail file and all open and close crisply.View attachment 2148762
Congrats!! Wonderful burl Barrett. That’s an interesting little knife. I have one a lot like it (also Japanese, I’m pretty sure, but I don’t remember what else if anything is stamped on it) that belonged to my grandpa, and has his initials engraved on it. Unfortunately, the spring(s) are broken, so everything just sort of flops out of it.
This is my newest addition.

They did. So much so I ordered the copper/burlap barlow, single blade trapper and the brass/micarta single blade trapper. They did very well with those SFOs.![]()
Thank you very much Paul . I have the same opinion but I am a little Biased . I am very happy with it .I think that is the best camel bone example I have seen. Congrats on that beauty, Harry.
They did. So much so I ordered the copper/burlap barlow, single blade trapper and the brass/micarta single blade trapper.
They are also on sale right now which makes them an amazing deal.
Enjoy!
I picked up the clubs, single-blade stockmans, the SFO Barlow. Agree on the value. Very happy with the knives.
Already had a couple copper Barlows and Expedition Barlow (before the current pricing).
Funny thing is I also have SMKWs exclusive Case trapper in burlap micarta and 1095 in the same order. Really worried about the QC on it given it’s a Case. I’ve had horrible luck with Case trappers lately. Not worried at all about the Bokers.
You received a great example, that looks better than any stock photos I've seen.Case XX Small Congress Camp fire Bone![]()
