I bought a handful of various Camilluses (Camilli?) on the cheap last weekend, just to check out some patterns. These are the first couple to arrive.

#72 - 3 5/8" carpenters & whittlers knife. Pen Clip, Coping, Mirror polished Sabre clip and Cabone covers. In another thread here I have learned Cabone is "Camillus Bone" and is their fancy term for Delrin. The swedge is actually on both sides of the blade, but unfortunately the sabre grind is only on the show side. Overall I'll be tossing this in my pocket for sure. Good pattern and something i'd hunt for in the future. Maybe some nice real bone or wood. Not really sure if it ever came with other cover materials.

This next little fella is about 3 3/8". A cool jack knife. Once again the swedge is on both sides of the spear blade. Very snappy. Half stops. Long pull. Just about everything I'd like in a jack knife. Pretty sure that the cover material is plastic/celluloid of some sort... You can see it has shrunk.

It's been well loved but still has some life left. I know it's whooped on, but when this thing was new it was a heck of a nice knife.

Just having some fun learning about this stuff. Have a good day!
