Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

For me, the GEC Washington Jacks are grail knives. Unfortunately, my interest in knives didn’t begin until a few years after they were released. Yesterday, Lady Luck found me and gave me a good, swift, kick in the derrière. Autumn gold, ebony, cocobolo. I’m partial to ebony, but the autumn gold is my favorite right now.

I’m very grateful to the seller for passing these on to me. My mind is a little blown today.

I’d be happy to, it’s a neat find that I’d like to know more about. It has a separate spring for each blade. They all have stout pulls, snappy to close from their half stops but each is sluggish from half stop to fully open. Each blade says “NEW YORK KNIFE Co WALDEN” OAL 3 5/8”

Not much of a Victorinox knife collector, but I came across this recently and had to get it!

I had no idea that Victorinox were made in this form factor, like a regular jack or a boys knife. Paid an arm and a leg for it...I think it dates back to 50's ~ 60's?

Wow...what a find Ken. I like everything about it.👍🏻

Bob, is the bottom one some kind of wood? I really like the variations in the color and figure.

I ran across this fellow on Reddit that is just getting started making slip joints, but I liked what I saw so I asked him to make a large zulu-ish knife using some ebony he had just received and ran with his idea of finding a wood native to that area, so after some googling I asked him to order some pink ivory. Neither of us had ever heard of it, but according to the internet that wood is associated with zulu tribal leaders. I think it turned out amazing!
