Your own physical reaction to having had the vaccine shots

First shot of Pfizer about 20h ago, have a slight headache and feel like being dehydrated. Perhaps a small hint of feeling sick, like 1/10 on the sickness scale.
I had covid in December, extremely mild. Confirmed antibodies in January.
2nd jab yesterday, Pfizer, had a bit of soreness in the evening and woke up early with moderate pain and slight influenza-like feeling. Let’s see how it goes, nurse said it’s max two days of side effects, otherwise I should call for advice.

Wasty Wasty , what the hell is that on your arm? This is not a spoon forum you know 😉

My stepson in Vietnam had his second shot of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine Sunday morning, exactly eight weeks after his first, with no reaction to speak of. He biked to his workplace where buses took everyone to a mass vaccination clinic and back. His employer gave everyone Monday as a sick day if they needed it, but he felt nothing and returned to working by remote this morning.

Had my second dose on Friday.
Came home to find my knife collection had completely rusted overnight. I got a letter from the Taxman telling me I was being audited, and I caught my girlfriend in bed with my best mate! Phizer sucks! o_O
Just kidding......sore arm for 24 hours and a minor temperature for 18 hours.🤣

First shot was early January, second was Groundhogs Day. Not one single side effect, including no soreness. Wife was the same although she said her arm was a bit sore. Both of us had the Moderna vaccine.

Sadly, my neighbors to the west of me both were diagnosed with Covid last week. Both have COPD as well. Neither were vaccinated. I can’t see this ending well. 😕

Folks, it makes no difference whether you post "pro shot" or "anti shot" comments. Anything off topic is going to get removed.

Moderna. 1st shot in left arm, sore arm. 2nd shot in right arm, sore arm & just tired for an entire day. Nothing else.

3rd Pfizer. No reaction whatsoever just like the first two and am under a lot of stress currently with work/life so if there had been something it would have shown.
So is the third shot now official or did you just go get it on your own?

Got the third Pfizer yesterday due to immunocompromised status. It definitely hit me harder than the first two, but side effects were still pretty mild. Fatigue, some body aches and a low grade fever. Seem to have largely gone away this morning.

Wife received email from her medical provider about a 3rd "booster" shot: if you've had a solid organ transplant or HIV or you're not sure what this means, call us immediately (my translation). I was vaccinated by 101st Airborne and I've heard nothing from Chicago Public Health who received their medical records, but I have my vaccination card and I'm not concerned. For most of us who aren't immune compromised, the booster shot is supposed to be 8 months after the second (or after the first if it was Johnson & Johnson). That's the way it will be in USA until they change their minds.

A friend of mine who is on anti-rejection drugs (kidney transplant) has already had his third shot. Other than a mildly sore arm for a little while. he had no ill effects.

Going to let that stand, but read the title: YOUR OWN reaction.
