Your thoughts on the GEC #55 Hound Tooth???

Sorry for the boring image; but it's dark outside (and the lighting inside isn't "photo quality").

I have been doing pretty well with resisting new knives; but my only 55 is showing it's age a little. Show me the right covers, and my wallet would open.

That knife is gorgeous and looks like it has a lot of life left.

I was cleaning my desk and found a small white box. I opened the box and it had some red paper in it with a letter. The letter was from Jeff. Jeff gifted me a GEC 55 houndstooth and wrote me a nice letter to go with it. I still have the 55 and carry it to work several days a week. It's my primary in the rotation. I'd tell you all my other two rotation knives but it would prob be blasfeme. The 55 w/ wharncliffe is an outstanding knife. I'll post some pics of this week. I'm going to get rid of the box but keep the letter.

Jeff - I really appreciate your kindness and want you to know I'm still rockin it! It's one of the few I'll never part ways with.

So, this week I've been to the beach and to work! I've cut food, tape, straps, and even cleaned a haggardly area from my middle fingernail. LOL! Here are two pics. One from the beach and one in my car going to work.
