Hello, Now your hittin' a weak area........Sees Candys:)

How about a Bosca Alligator Wallet. Large wood inlay Sebenza, Keys with the infared tracer and locator on the chain. They are for a new 2002 land Cruiser with a Levinson sound system. The Orvis leather trimmed luggage is already loaded and the North face camping gear is not to be forgotten too.

I might be camping a few places so a nice "Breitling Crosswind Special" or a "Rolex Seadweller" might be the ticket. But for dressy appointments I would opt for a IWC Dopple Chronograph.

I might go hiking so a Brunton surveying style compass would come in handy along with a older style small sebenza. A cell phone and boatloads of cash are not to be with out either. The money won't get me anything out in the wilds, but its good to have in town!!

HHHHAAAAAA!!!! Dreamin never hurts anyone I hope...

Later, JC

oops again, hmm what else could i put on the defender to count as one item..... gotta add the cell as i sprint for the finish

1. Arc LE AAA
2. Photon II red
3. Surefire E2
4. Spyderco Navigator
4. Leatherman Micra
5. Fisher Bullet Space Pen
6. CR Small Sebenza
7. Leatherman Juice Glacier
8. Leatherman Pulse w/tool adapter
9. Swisstool
10. Nokia Cell Phone

The only thing that I carry every day are the flashlights, pen and cellphone. The other things I alternate depending on where I am.

You raise a valid point. Cost is one reason why I listed generic items along with my actual choices. Not everyone can, or wants to, pay for high-end items. On the other hand, I suspect most of us here will tend to spend more on the knives than on some of the other accessories. :D

Somehow I don't think this being the most appropriate thread for a first post, but what the hell at least it shows I can count~

~Leatherman Wave
~30' or so of paracord tied to a little tube of Benastat wound powder and a Foxx whistle
~Buck Strider 880
~Monadnok Autolock JR
~Yaesu VX1 transceiver
~Casio GPS watch san watchband, with a compass attached
~TCN 21mm 8X monocular
~Streamlight Baton-lite LED, and a Microlight
~A Japanese jet lighter thingy that you can add welding tip and hot knife, kinda small too
~Compaq Ipaq
Ahhh look mum~~ no Glock~ (if I had a piece I'd be posting this from jail, and probably with a very sore butt)

When I hop over the border into nearby China, (certainly not one of the safer places on this planet) these essential toys would accompany me on a self-made; fairly concealable rig. When I return home, the baton, the Yeaesu, the GPS and the blow torch go to the drawer, the rest stay on my belt, oh maybe with the Buck nesting in my poofy Prada bag.

Hong Kong is very metropolitan, meaning most people can't make, fix, nor break anything; while ladies freak out on the mere sight of me carrying a Wave (oh dear is that a knife?)~ but from past experiences I can justify the need for these toys ¡§almost¡¨ on a daily basis, and I'm so glad to have found this forum, it's "almost" like a lost soul suddenly discovering he's not alone.

Thank you, gentlemen. Much appreciation due.
:)
